These sessions are a popular staple of the AAA conference and focus on contemporary topics presented by leaders in the field of audiology, hearing science, and related professional areas. The Program Committee invites presenters for these sessions based on their expertise in given topic areas.
Featured Sessions
The sessions will include topics such as Hearing Aids in Review: 2024, Coding and Reimbursement, Ethics, Disparities in Audiology, Artificial Intelligence, Hyperacusis Management and Treatment, Cognitive Dysfunction, Managed Care (TPAs) and Animal Audiology. The Marion Downs Lecture, a signature AAA event, is set for Friday morning and will focus on the important topic of genetic testing and counseling in pediatric audiology.

Grand Rounds
A grand round is a formal educational session that features a moderator and four presenters. During these sessions, four complex clinical cases, research findings, or new treatment protocols will be discussed.
Grand rounds serve not only as a platform for knowledge sharing but also as an opportunity for professional development, networking, and fostering a collaborative spirit among healthcare providers.
