Charge Description

  • Solicit contributions from Academy members to raise money for the Political Action Committee (PAC).
  • Educate Academy members on why contributing to the PAC is important to the Academy's legislative priorities and assist audiologists and others in organizing themselves for effective political action.
  • Support policy goals important to audiologists and the practice of audiology through the support of Congressional candidates incorporating recommendations of Legislation and Regulation Committee.
  • Promote enhanced understanding among elected officials of the unique and important role of audiology in the delivery of high-quality health care to patients.

  1. The work of the PAC Advisory Board is overseen by the Legislative and Regulatory Committee.
