In order for members to obtain a full range of training, the Academy partners with its approved CE Providers to offer CEUs. The Academy records CEUs submitted by CE Providers as well as the AAA Annual Conference and Academy online learning opportunities which is then available to Academy members through the CE Registry. To help ensure CEUs are posted to your CE Registry quickly and accurately, the Academy ID# and last name submitted on a course reporting form to the Academy MUST MATCH EXACTLY what is reflected in your Academy member profile.
The CE Registry is a member benefit offered at no additional cost to current Academy members. It is a quick and easy way to track your CEUs—most states recognize the Academy’s transcript as an official document. Update: Approval of CE Courses
As of October 1, 2015, the Academy’s Professional Development Committee will approve continuing education (CE) courses based solely on content. The CE approval process ensures high-quality continuing education through the Academy’s CE Providers. The approval will no longer be tied directly to the Ethical Practice Guideline for Relationships with Industry. The onus of abiding by the Academy's Code of Ethics rests on you as an Academy member. Further, we encourage you to review the Ethics area of the Academy's website and specifically the Ethical Practice Guideline for Relationships with Industry so that you can make informed choices about your professional development.

The CE Registry stores and organizes all reported CEU activities from Academy approved CE providers, provides a transcript service, ensures quality programs offered by the Academy and more than 100 Academy-approved CE providers, and more.
CE Provider Information
Organizations wishing to offer continuing education programs related to audiology with a target audience of audiologists can become a CE Provider and apply for Academy CEUs.
Scholar Awards
The American Academy of Audiology honors individuals who complete a total of 50 continuing education hours (5.0 CEUs) within a two-year period.
