What are your clinical interests?

I aim to explore the mechanisms underlying speech stream segregation in pediatric populations, including children with normal hearing and those with cochlear implants.

What do you/did you love the most about your job?

The potential to dramatically enhance the lives of children facing hearing difficulties is what drives our research and fuels our passion for this work.

What company or organization do you work for right now? If you’re retired, where did you last work?

Postdoctoral fellow at University of Texas at Austin.

What’s a project you’re working on right now? Why is it meaningful to you?

My current research focuses on understanding how children, particularly those with subclinical hearing loss (e.g., extended high-frequency loss), segregate competing speech in real-world situations.

How has your career benefited from being a member of the Academy?

Through active engagement in Academy events, I seek to build a robust professional network that will foster my career growth and ultimately lead to a successful transition into an independent faculty role.
