Alaska has become the 34th state to pass legislation implementing the Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Interstate Compact (ASLP-IC). Senate Bill 75 was held in the committee longer than usual to fix drafting errors but was sent to the governor in mid-August. Alaskan Governor Dunleavy returned the bill with his signature, officially passing it into law.
