Bridget Shanahan Herrick, AuD, PASC, ABA Certified, is a clinical assistant professor at Arizona State University (ASU). She specializes in central auditory processing disorders (CAPD), pediatric diagnostic evaluations and amplification, and educational audiology. She teaches academic courses for aural rehabilitation, audiology grand rounds, and CAPD. She is also a clinical preceptor for the ASU Speech and Hearing Clinic where she mentors audiology doctoral graduate students and undergraduate speech and hearing science students. She began the Audiology Assistant Program, where undergraduate students gain hands on experience both clinically and administratively within the audiology clinic. Additionally, Dr. Shanahan Herrick works as a research affiliate with Mayo Clinic in Arizona, collaborating in various research projects focused around CAPD.
Dr. Shanahan Herrick earned her doctorate of audiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Healthcare Innovation (MHI) from Arizona State University with anticipated graduation in December 2024. She earned the Pediatric Audiology Specialty Certification (PASC) and ABA Certification through the American Board of Audiology. She also holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
