Michelle Moore

Hi everyone! I’ve been the manager of government relations at the Academy since the Spring of 2024. As the manager, I oversee state government affairs, monitor legislative activity to navigate the political landscape, build coalitions, and mobilize grassroots advocacy to achieve legislative success and further promote the Academy’s objectives.

I have a bachelor’s degree in government from Gallaudet University and over three years of experience advocating for non-profit organizations at the state legislative and regulatory levels.

As a part of the Academy’s team, I am happy to advocate ensuring our voice is represented in public policy. I’m passionate about speaking up for our profession, to empower ourselves and others to advance quality care, access, and innovation.
