The specific goal of this guideline is to provide a set of statements, recommendations, and strategies for best practice in the provision of a comprehensive treatment plan for the audiological management of adults with severe-to-profound unilateral sensorineural hearing loss. The guideline addresses the technical aspects of hearing device selection, fitting, verification, validation, and counseling within the context of a comprehensive treatment plan.
