The foundation of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Quality Payment Program (QPP) was designed to replace the flawed base of the Sustainable Growth Rate formula that for many years served as the underpinning of Medicare provider payment.
For the past five years, the CMS QPP has included audiologists as “eligible clinicians” to help lay the framework of meaningful data to CMS to improve the care and health of Medicare beneficiaries.
